MS150 Training Ride #1 Route

We’ve finalized our first route for the 2009 Colorado Bike MS Training Series.  We’ll see you Sunday May 24 at 9:45 A.M. at Peloton Cycles in Fort Collins! All are welcome – MS 150 riders and non-riders! The events are free and casual – come join a group for training motivation and fun.

Peloton-Specialized & Colorado Bike MS

The Peloton-Specialized Cycling Team is pleased to announce that the team is partnering with Colorado Bike MS in the organization’s commitment to improving the lives of the more than 72,000 Coloradans affected by Multiple Sclerosis.

The Fort Collins based Peloton-Specialized Cycling Team will host a three-ride training series for cyclists leading to the 2009 Colorado Bike MS event on Sunday May 24, Sunday June 7 and Sunday June 21, 2009. The training series, free of charge for all cyclists, will include groups for all ability levels. The training rides will depart at 10:00 a.m. from the Peloton Cycles Store located at 3027 East Harmony Road, Fort Collins, CO 80526 and will follow portions of the route outlined for the 150-mile Great-West Life Bike MS, Colorado’s Ride 2009 Presented by Sam’s Club, which will take place June 27-28, 2009.

Cyclists interested in taking part in the training ride series should stay tuned to www.peloton-specialized.com or call Brian Holcombe at 970-219-3780 for more information. Registration will be available at Peloton Cycles between 9:30 and 9:45 A.M. on the day of each ride.

New Belgium Short Track 2x

Dan Porter posted a 2x video from the Pro/Open race and results from all categories at Tuesday’s New Belgium STXC Series event.  Be sure to check out Dan’s site for more information on the New Belgium series and Fort Collins cycling.

Tuesday May 5 is the final event in the New Belgium series.  Racing starts at 4:30pm on the east side of the brewery.  Entry is $5 and no experience or racing license is required.

Subaru Classic Crit Postponed

We received the following email from Yvonne at the American Cycling Association this evening. The spring weather continues to wreak havoc on the race calendar!

Due to weather conditions the promoter of the Subaru Crit scheduled for Sunday, April 19 has postponed the event. New race date to be determined. Please pass this on to your members.
