Cycling Background:
I’ve been racing/riding for 26 years.  Started racing when I was 14 with Jonathan Vaughters and Bobby Julich back in the day of the 7-11 and Plymouth Reebok junior cycling teams. I’ve raced at cat 2 level but not ride masters or cat 3 races as time allows. I also ran Ciclismo Euskadi cycling camps in the Basque country for 6 years.

Mostly road, some MTB (now that I have an MTB)

2009 Specialized Tarmac Pro SL with Campy Record;  2010 Specialized Epic Comp (my first ever real MTB)

You May be Surprised to Know…
I have way more interests than I have time. Hobbies other than cycling which is by far my number one passion in life are:  Upland bird hunting, archery hunting for elk,  fishing with my kids, classic British motorcycles like my 1974 Norton Commando, and, currently, restoring a 1978 VW Westfalia camper
